Far and Away The Best Story From The NBA Draft (USA! USA!)
You may not know who Bernard James is, but he was easily the best story from draft night. The 27 year old center from Florida State was drafted 33rd overall. Being drafted at 27 doesn’t make it a great story. What makes it a great story is the fact the Bernard James is being drafted at 27 because he served in the US Air Force from 2003-2008. In his 5+ years of service James did 3 tours of duty in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Qatar. Instead of defending our Nation, James will now be defending the paint for the Dallas Mavericks…
