Bradley Beal Nickname Contest – What Nickname Did Beal Pick?

If you’re a DC sports fan than you know how much we love giving our athletes nicknames and coining various slogans around their names. Alexander the Great, Cised for Bryce, RG3, Kerrakpo, etc… they are all over the place.
So, to stay in line with DC tradition, we thought it was only fitting to force feed our newest DC athlete with a nickname from the fans that’ll be rooting him on come October.
Shortly after the pick was in, we asked our listeners to send in nicknames for Beal and we would let him choose the one he liked the best.
After receiving hundreds of nickname suggestions, we narrowed down the list for Bradley to pick from:

During Fridays press conference, we had Beal take a moment and review the list.

Beal loved the list! He browsed it over, laughing out loud on some of the recommendations like Beal Parmesan & Beal So Hard, while acknowledging names like “Sexual Bealing” would never fly. After reviewing the list twice (he came back to look at it again), Beal said the one he liked the best.
In the end, Beal chose “SuperBeal” as his favorite nickname.
Will it stick? Only time will tell… in the meantime, we have a starting point.
